Alice has been teaching Iyengar Yoga since 2015 and practicing yoga since the late 1990s. She started with dynamic styles like Ashtanga but shifted to Iyengar after a wrist injury. Iyengar’s focus on props, alignment, and precision allowed her to practice pain-free and matched her detail-oriented approach.

She trained under Ros Bell, a senior London teacher, and has studied with the Iyengar family in Pune, alongside other respected teachers. Her classes focus on alignment, balance challenge with support, and cater to diverse students, including older adults, injury recovery, and “stiff” beginners. She also enjoys teaching restorative yoga and pranayama to support the nervous system and healing.

What to expect

4 1/2 hours of yoga per day: 2 1/2 hours in the morning before brunch and 2 hours in the late afternoon before dinner. Between your brunch and your afternoon yoga class there’s plenty of time for yourself. Time to swim, read, walk, relax, connect with the other participants, etc.
